2.a. CE Marking - EMC Directive

To access the European Union market, companies must ensure the electromagnetic compatibility of their electrical and/or electronic products and ensure their compliance with EMC Directive 2014/30/EU.
This Directive is applicable to a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment, systems and fixed facilities. It aims to ensure that these products will not interfere with the proper operation of other devices, and that they themselves have an intrinsic level of immunity to electromagnetic interference.

3.Training
FSSAI-FoSTaC Training
Audithut is one of the leading FoSTaC approved Training partner in India.
FSSAI recommends that all licensed food businesses must have at least one trained and certified Food Safety Supervisor under FoSTaC for every 25 food handlers in each premise.
Who can attend FoSTaC Training
Any person who are in business or intend to become involved in food business, student or food professionals can be the certified Food Safety Supervisor.
Three levels of training programmes are available under FoSTaC. Duration of each course is of 4 to 12 hours spreading over 1 to 2 days. Training manuals are based on general hygiene or manufacturing practices as detailed under schedule 4 of FSS Regulation.

FSSAI Hygiene Rating Audit (HRA)
ABOUT FSSAI HYGIENE RATING
FSSAI Food Hygiene Rating Scheme is an online, transparent scoring and rating process which aims to allow consumers to make informed choices about the places where they eat out & through these choices, encourage businesses to improve their hygiene standards & thus reduce the incidence of food-borne illness. This Hygiene rating concept is new in India, but has parallels in many countries across the globe. Every country has its own terminologies which explain the idea of ensuring safe and hygienic food in all catering businesses to the general public. Some of the well-known schemes already in place are "Food Hygiene Rating Scheme" (FHRS) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, "Scores on Doors" a star rating scheme in Australia, etc.
CURRENT MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Qualified FBOs need to have FSSAI License/ Registration and follow schedule 4 requirements. This aims to provide for adequate measures that are to be adopted to ensure that food being served to the consumers is of good quality and safe to eat. Train all food handlers and appoint a certified Food Safety Supervisors. Access FSS training portal "FOSTAC" to get more information. Must have Food Safety Display Boards prominently displayed in the premises. Get food samples tested periodically.
ENROLING IN HYGIENE RATING SCHEME
- Log in using your FLRS credentials at: www.fssai.gov.in/hygieneRating/login
- Follow Guidelines and complete self-assessment
- Generate "hygiene rating" or enroll for "Responsible place to eat"
- Print self-assessment ratings certificate online.
- Verification of ratings will be done by a HRAA (Hygiene Rating Audit Agency), through an inspection.
- Post Inspection, FBO can generate the verified (signed) rating certificate by FSSAI.
- Enroll for "Responsible place to eat" if above ratings score is 4 (Good ) or more.
